Re-Roofing and New Roofs · Overview

Re-roofs and new roofs across Suffolk and Norfolk

We carry out full re-roofs and build new pitched roofs for homes in Red Lodge and across Suffolk and Norfolk.

When a roof has reached the end of its life, patching it only goes so far. Tiles become porous and brittle, the old felt underneath sags or tears, battens rot and nails rust through. A re-roof strips the roof back to the rafters and rebuilds it with new breathable membrane, new battens and new tiles or slates, so the whole roof starts again from sound.

We also build new roofs for extensions and replacements, in tile or slate to suit the house. Every job starts with a free inspection and a free written quote, and the work is carried out by our own team. If the roof only needs attention in places, we will say so and point you to roof repairs instead.

A re-roof is also the right moment to deal with everything else at the roof line. We can look at the fascias and roofline and the chimney while the scaffold is up, so the whole roof is finished at the same time.

Why it matters

Signs a roof needs replacing, not repairing

General signs that patch repairs are no longer the answer.

  • Repeat leaks

Leaks that keep coming back in new places after each repair.
  • Slipping and cracking

Tiles or slates that keep sliding or breaking across the whole slope.
  • Sagging

A roof line that dips between the rafters, often a sign of tired battens or felt.
  • Daylight in the loft

Light showing through, or damp and staining on the underside of the roof.

How it works

How the work runs

The same simple steps on every job, from a single slipped tile to a full re-roof.

  1. 01

    Tell us about the roof

Call, email or send the form and tell us about the roof. Photos help us understand the job before we visit.

  2. 02

    Free roof inspection

We come out, look at the roof properly and explain what we find in plain terms.

  3. 03

    Free written quote

You get a free written quote that sets out the work before anything starts, with no obligation.

  4. 04

    Done by our team

Alex and the team carry out the work, keep you updated and leave the site clear when the job is finished.
